Okay, I'm going to give you a hypothetical scenario. There's this girl, a twenty-something. Her plans to go back to school this year went out the window so she's being a huge Debbie Downer about it. In fact, she's been straight up annoying all week. I don't like her. Therefore, I'd like to tell this girl to get her shit together and move the eff forward. Life happens but you can choose how you react to it. Wake up tomorrow, splash your face with water and run it off, bitch.
Okay, now here is a true life scenario. My mom had a relapse this week. Consequently, she went to the Emergency Room today. We are still waiting for the results from her MRI.
|My mom, looking hospital-gown-chic.|
I wanted to share this photo of my Mom from the ER today because of the huge smile on her face. She's the perfect example of someone who has decided to react positively to a negative/scary situation. Despite the fact that she's been having more trouble walking this week, she's still smiling. She's still living. She's still hot. If my Mom can stay strong while dealing with an unpredictable neurological disorder, the hypothetical twenty-something can suck it up and move on. End rant.
