Bicycles and Oscars

Life is like riding a bicycle, sure.  But sometimes it's like riding a fucking unicycle.  Do you ever just wish-upon-a-star that life would freeze for a second?  [It's cool, I do too.]  We gotta stop wishing for such nonsense.  Life doesn't stop for anyone.  Not even Meryl Streep.  

Or maybe you want to turn around and bike backwards for awhile?  Life doesn't work that way either.  It's normal to get overwhelmed and want a break when things feel out of control.  Truth is, if you want to get somewhere, you just gotta keep moving.   

It can be difficult to remain reasonably steady in this mad world we live in.  Just ask Jennifer Lawrence.  The Best Actress winner fell on her way to the Oscars stage tonight.  JLaw kept moving though because she knew that the show would go on, whether she picked herself up or not.  And just so you know, Jennifer wasn't an overnight success.  It took years of hard work, determination, and perseverance to get to where she is now.  All that pedaling sure did pay off.  Hashtag inspired.

So, dear reader, keep moving.  Don't stop pedaling for even a second.  Slow down and breathe when you need to but don't you dare quit.  The further you go, the more opportunities will appear.  [And the stronger you'll feel.]  I promise.
