I Just Want A Mocktail, Dammit.

"I'll have a Shirley Temple, please.  On the rocks."

Sometimes I want something a little stronger than water.  You feel me?  Last night, I had the pleasure of eating at one of my favorite restaurants with one of my most favorite people [in the world], Riley.  For those of you who have never been to Cucina Enoteca, I suggest you schedule a reservation stat.  If Anthropologie had it's very own whimsical restaurant, this would be it.  I'm not gonna lie, I could live in there.  Also, fun fact:  If you happen to just love the table you're sitting at, you can buy it.  What about that candle you saw when you walked in?  It can be yours.  Everything is for sale.  Eat and shop your heart out, people.  It's Anthropologie on crack.

While the food is sublime, I'd like to talk about the drinks.  Their cocktail menu is creative, fabulous, and extensive. [Riley suggests The Geisha.] But what about those of us who no longer partake in alcohol?  What about us?!  The only drink that I could think of ordering was a Shirley Temple.  It was served in a mason jar [adorbz] and yes, it was delicious.  However, I like variety.  I desire change.  And honestly, sparkling cider is starting to bore me.   (Mr. Anonymous, don't take this the wrong way.)  I couldn't help but wonder, what are my other options?

Turns out, there are several.  Now if only I could find them on the menu...Cheers.
